Karen Combs’ quilts are known for taking a traditional pattern and giving it her own unique "twist." Karen is intrigued with quilts of illusions and has been designing quilts with a 3-D look for several years.
Karen is the author of nine different books and has been a fabric designer for two decades.
Gyleen Fitzgerald makes quilts that blend color, pattern, and texture to provide a contemporary essence in traditional quilting. Her strength as a quilter is demonstrated by the infusion of engineering tools and innovative techniques to simplify visually complex quilts. She shares her enthusiasm for quilting through interactive lectures and workshops. As a writer, Gyleen centers on haiku poetry, quilt project books, magazine articles and children's books.
Catherine Redford has appeared on Quilting Arts TV and is a regular contributor to Modern Patchwork magazine. She is the author of two Modern Machine Quilting QATV workshop DVDs. She describes her style as “eclectic,” but “I am known best for my originality and innovation when completing my projects, particularly in the realm of free-motion quilting and embellishment.”
Emily Taylor is a collage quilt artist and pattern creator. She has designed over a dozen fabric collections for Riley Blake Designs, and is the founder of the quilt-related website, PatternJam.com. Her unique collage quilt technique uses printed panels with gray tones to guide fabric choices.
After a longarm purchase in the late nineties, Jamie began to develop his own unique style of quilting. He teaches his signature workshops and classes, Mystical Quilting series and Threadfusion. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of quilting and his YouTube channel has become a hit. He continues to teach nationally and internationally. Home base is Quilters Apothecary in Michigan City, Indiana.
