Including five quilts and quilt patterns published by the Kansas City Star Newspaper between 1932 and 1967, this cheerful quilt was designed and paper-pieced by Claudia Clark Myers. The original machine quilting was designed and executed by Marilyn Badger.

Original design inspired by the art deco period. Descriptive words used are repeating overlapping images, chevrons, parallel straight lines and stylized floral motifs.
